The pups were eager to say hello when I arrived. I let them out of their crates and into the yard. It took a minute for Sammy to venture out, but once he was outside, he dashed over to do his business (later I saw him poop). Frankie just peed.
Sammy spent some time looking out the side gate, and then hiding behind the veggies. I can still see you, Sammy!
Playtime in the yard was super fun! The pups were glad to go back inside, though.
Thanks, guys!
Time: 5:45-6:15 pm
And then, dinner time! Their sits were perfect (I love that quick little butt plop they do!) and once bowls were down, they gobbled. Well, Frankie gobbled. Sammy was a bit more hesitant... but he eventually ate it all!
After eating we wandered back out into the yard to enjoy the waning afternoon. The sky had clouded over but it was still pretty warm out. Sadly there was no sunshine so I didn't witness Sammy doing his trademark sunbathing!
Frankie played a million rounds of catch. She was panting quite a bit.
Time: 5:45-6:15 pm
Sammy was plenty happy to sunbathe. I first asked him if he wanted a walk, and then he rolled belly up. I couldn't tell if that was a 'Don't hurt me' or 'Come love me'. It certainly wasn't 'come love me'. So, to the backyard!

Frankie and I enjoyed a nice walk. It's like Poppy's and Toto!
Ok, not quite, but I kept my eyes open for the yellow brick road. It was a great day in the Emerald City.
We came across this avid gardening. They're getting full loaves of bread to grow! Amazing!
Frankie was happy for water and both pups for treats in crates.
Thanks for the visit, pups!
Time out: 1:40pm
Awww, back yard sniffs.

Sammy was on it!

He laid in the sun, got up to pee, sniff, poo, and then sunbathe some more. Frankie and I left him to it. Walk time for us!

Though, no poo from her. We found some good sniffs and she looked happy for water when we got back.
Btw, the temperature felt really nice by their crates. I think that window-towel idea was great today.
Thanks for the visit, pups!
Time out: 1:50pm
Another great afternoon for Sammy's sunbathing. He kept his back to me most of the time. :)

And Frankie frolicked around in the grass. Can you spot her?!

And this..THIS! I didn't even know this was possible!

Sammy wasn't thrilled at first, but then he laid down and let Frankie share a couple minutes with him. Though, she came over to me for pets and games.
This afternoon, Sammy seemed pretty startled to see me again. After barking, he looked on edge, so I let him be. Frankie and I enjoyed a nice long walk. When we returned, we went out back one last time and Sammy pooed as well. Yey!
Then I gave them dinner in their crates and headed out.
Thanks pups!
Times out: 2:45pm, 6:10pm
Oh, Mister.

Again, the pups were elated and led the way to the back door. Sammy stretched and laid down. After a little sun bathing, he got up to pee. Frankie ran out some energy on her own, returned to check in with me, and then we leashed up for a walk.

The bulk of the visit was with Frankie. She found the sniffs, got some happy panting, and shared a poo.
I let them out back one last time before treating them back into their crates.
Thanks, pups!
Time out: 2:52pm
Hello, delicate sniffer!

Out of their crates, the pups asked to go out back right away. I opened the door, Sammy ran out to lay down and Frankie enjoyed the garden. They each sniffed and Frankie pooed. Frankie and I then played some tug. I love that horse rope. Best toy ever!

Oh, and Sammy almost let me touch him more then a second on top of his head. :)

We enjoyed the sun this afternoon. Tonight we'll take a nice walk. See you soon, pups!
Time: 1:15-1:45pm
Sammy soaked up the sun.

Frankie enjoyed the garden.

After she did her business, I leashed up Frankie. Sammy seemed uninterested so it was just Frankie and I. Lead the tour, m'lady!

We found some usual sights and smells that always seem new and exciting to Frankie, saw the neighborhood German Sheppard, tossed her poo, and headed back.
Yummy crate time!
Thanks, pups!
Time out: 12:22pm
Helloooo, pups! No barks at all when I arrived. Of course, Frankie was jumping a little inside her crate and Sammy already looked slightly apprehensive - but that was it. :) It was great to see them again.
Sammy slept peacefully in the corner. Can you see him?
It was raining heavily when the pups ventured into the yard, and they were happy to run back inside immediately after doing their business. Frankie pooped while she was out there.
I played living room fetch with Frankie for a little over 10 minutes. She loved it!
I left the pups in their crates with treats and new toys for Frankie. Hopefully she won't mind being without her bedding for a few hours!
Have a nice weekend!
Time: 1:55-2:40 pm
Is it ball time?!

I arrived to see a giant box! Lucky you!
The pups didn't make a noise. They each stretched and stayed quiet as I let them out of their crates. Then outside for a quick potty. Sammy knew it was raining, so it took a second asking to coax him out. He ran right under the porch, did his business, and ran back in. I forgot to take a picture of him!
Then Frankie and I played a ton of fetch. She's so cute with that little tennis ball.
With the last twenty minutes, we took a stroll around the neighborhood. She pooed and founds lots to sniff.

Then crate time!
Thanks for the visit, animals!
Time out: 1:25pm
Sammy was excited to get right to sunbathing today!

We all ran out to the back first thing. He looked so content, I didn't really bother him. We decided to leave him there and Frankie and I headed out. Lead the way, Frankie!

I get such a kick out of that little sled dog. We did a little loose leash walking as well.
Back at the house, we had some nice ball time too.

(Oh, I don't recall if I texted this - Frankie threw up outside in the backyard at the beginning. It was just white foamy. I didn't see her eat anything, so not sure what it was about.)
Then back to their crates for nibblets. No one drank water.
Thanks, pups!
